Personally, I feel that Koi still takes 1st place!

Tried the Gong-cha: normal milk tea with white pearl. And yesterday, tried the Alisan - fresh milk tea yesterday and 2 thumbs down. For me, this is like a different drink altogether. Not the "usual" bubble tea you are looking for ~

I still need my bubble tea fix soon...maybe this coming long weekend~Koi! ;)

Probably one of the craziest idea is to bring your kid to a tattoo shop? Most will say YES! and yes, i did that.

And that's me carrying nicky outside the shop @ 12am+ after ah dee got his done (he's took 2hrs). And as you can see, it is not the usual tat shop that you see at the shopping centres~inside is a cozy, living room where they work in separate corners and we can sit and hang around without disturbing them at work. Kaofu helped to babysit nicky whilst we were having our tat done and nicky didn't actually get to see it being done. Ha!

And here's what.

A very comfortable place, and of cos, the tattoo artists are all very friendly, which makes the whole process even more comfortable! ~ so if you want, can give this place a shot ~

Mine was done by Yen and ah dee's one was done by the boss himself, Baldwin :)

~13 jul 2010 ~

This is really an interesting month~many happenings, many changes~

Firstly, i still cant believe that I actually went to remove my wisdom tooth on my birthday! well, i did just that~and was on 7 days of MC (totally did not enjoy it cos the lump and constant sharp pain on my gums only went off after 2 weeks!)

Also, as I have officially reached the big 30! i remembered someone telling me that once you hit the big 30, every year passes even faster, 31,32...and before you know it, you are already 38 liao! c") ~ seriously not looking forward to that~

Secondly, i changed my job. Left my evergreen comfort zone, and ventured to a rather familiar but yet foreign land~i can only hope that the grass will still continue to be greener on this side~ *wink*

Lastly, i got inked! haa! ~ yup...finally...after sooooooo long and taking forever to decide what design i should get since donkey yrs ago!

i am always thinking: what design should i get? pain anot? eh...where should i get it? pain anot? pain? pain? pain?

...

Last friday, Nicky and Reye's childcare was closed.

So it was a field day for us! and we decided to go JusCo in JB with the 2 lil' rascals!

Farewell Angie

yup..farewell to me. and it has been 4.5 yrs.
well, it wasnt easy but anyways, i have decided to do it.
Blackwell/wiley~was really a fun fun fun place to be in. The girls at work were incredibly fun to the max.! I have made many new frens and also realised that some are geniunely frens to keep.

Sadly,for some...colleagues are meant to be just colleagues ~ so if you are leaving, i won't need to waste my time on you. If i happen to bum into you, then i will try to smile ~ if i bum into you again, i will just manage a "Hi" and nothing more. But somehow, they will not forget to ask and want to know, "where am i going to?!" is that all you are interested in? seriously, it's sad!

~ok, enuff grumbling~

Our farewell lunch on Friday ~ at swensen's ~ cos the whole gang wont be in the office on my actual last day! :( how nice!

Nando's!

we celebrated my birthday lunch at nando's and it was really interesting!

they serve chicken and loads of sides dishes for all :)

And just before 5pm, I received this envelope~

when i opened the envelope, it was a page full of EARS! asking me to identify who's ear can???!!!

wah lau i know i've been with u guys for 4.5 yrs, doesnt mean i can identify those ears behind those locks ok?!

and the hunt begins ~ actually all the pictures look damn "er-xing" can! and the one with the most perfect ear is Jez! hahahah and i even have to guess one ear when the person wasn't even present!

yup, this is my 1st PTM! omg!

ok guys, i didn't laugh during the session hor. i was listening to the feedbacks from nicky's teacher and all i can say is, REALLY? sure? HUH?

Hahah! The overall feedback is very good and I am very very amazed at it myself ~ my boy, shares, socialises, can match pictures correctly, associate objects and even color! No problems! And he is starting to eat/feed slightly beta now~

HUH?! and there I wondering if this is the correct boy we are talking about? ;)

It is all positive and I am going to start bringing out my paints that i bought sometime ago... looks like he is ready now ~ he loves to paint!

a week full of changes~and yes, after much much struggle, i've decided i have to move on ;)
why the struggle? cos i am so comfortable with the sistas at work...but of cos, not with...
Of cos, i should be happy instead! ~well, not quite yet cos i guess i still have 1 more month to go before my last day~ok, am looking forward to lunches and more lunches only~

Anyway's this week, i finally tried the "KOI"drink cos yee-ling finally manage to get it! ;) and i was rather impressed with the honey green tea instead of the milk tea~ha! i must try the other Ai-yu drink that esther's always promoting before i leave too!

We have been missing in action for the past weeks~
Starting from Vesak day, we went for our cycling trip again.. This time, with my dad and mum! And we brought along our mats.. So we could sit and enjoy the evening breeze.. There was very little smell left from the oil-spill..but we didn't feel very poisoned! Hahah!

And then i did something diff to my hair last week... hahha! permed~

and nicky had some curls too :)

Insect Bite?

On wednesday evening, nicky came home and started to complain "pain" and pointing to his left foot. and his foot was red...and it looked like feng-mok again~ i quickly gave him a bath, cleaned him up in case the feng-mok spreads again. applied calamine lotion and he was ok.

The next day, teacher called up to say that nicky doesnt want to walk. So my mum took nicky to see a doctor in the afternoon, and lucky, dr Chong said it was a bite.

But it looks kinda bad ~ something like water-retention when you are in your 3rd trimester le...

Nicky was walking with a limp on thursday and on friday, it seem to have improved after some cream and medication, and now he is RUNNING again! THANK GOD!!

A day i will never forget. a super-"sway" unlucky day man!

1st thing, my iphone died on me in the morning. And then my car battery died on me yesterday evening when i was going home from work. so i had to wait for seng's fren to jump-start the car and drive home to wait for the mechanic to change the battery.

I finally got home at 8 plus to a big warm hug from my darling boy. "MUMMY"! he shouted as he came to the door ~ *hughz*

So good to be home! and I finally sat down to have a nice warm dinner with mummy.

Today, this is a good start!

It was a great weekend getaway!

We manage to meet up with steph on both days (thank you babe for making time to meet us!) and I think the happiest person would be my lil' rascal!

False Alarm

This morning, nicky didnt pass the daily morning screening ~ he had an ulcer in his mouth so we had to turn back and head home. This means i cant go to work too.

Anyways, it was a false alarm **Thank Thank God!!** and Dr Chong did mention that there are quite a few false alarms recently...and Thank god that this is one of them! Say ahh! *

And we are looking fwd to see-ing the gang later in another...6hrs! Operation KL!

Today, ah dee brought nicky to pick me up from work... and the 2 boys looked at me when i walked to the car.... both staring at me...

When comparing motherhood now to when our moms raised young kids, 53 percent of you said the previous generation had it easier. And 47 percent also said Grandma had an easier time being a mom — despite doing it without cable TV, microwave ovens, and readily available epidurals.

wells, we went cycling on saturday with Rach, garry and their friends ;)

The kiddos' 1st time cycling and it wasn't too bad ~

And Rach brought her furries along too ~ Toby & Tamy, both enjoyed their rides too~

After awhile, nicky didn't want to cycle no more...so we took a walk by the sea, Watched the kites, played with the sand and got our feets wet ;)

Not a bad start for them, only nattie didnt want to sit down at first and we realised that it was becos she poo-ed! Haa! Well, after she got on, she kept wanting to bite the handles! Arrrggghhh!

Well, we are looking forward to more trips to come ;)

Guess who's who?

My old pri school fren told me that my kids looks like twins, only thing is that they are of different ages! haa! ok la, i wont say identical.

Apart from looks, I think that it's the same thing that happens. Something that siblings just can't run away from ~ you dress them with the same clothes and try to take a picture at the same place, same position if possible. And whilst nattie was crawling around, I remembered a picture taken at the exact same place and same position of nicky.

So i just snapped and snapped...and this is the most similar shot ~ Natalie in the 2nd picture above ~

I always feel that it is something inevitable, especially as a mother, when you gather your children for play, u will sit and compare~yes... and everyone does it and i hate it! I hate it, cos many a time, i feel that it's a real thin line between concerned and simply kay-po~ Ooops.

I love how my hubby sticks by his "no comparing theory". He really doesn't say or ask anything. He simply feels that eventually all the kids will learn and know the same thing. So what if your child can spell D.O.G now? the others will learn eventually and spell D.O.G too!
It's just earlier or later. So what? ~steady la~

it started maybe a month ago? I had no chance to video this down... and finally i did it ;)

Updates on Nattie ~ she has fully recovered from her cough & flu and her phlegm is all cleared! *cross my entire body* and please don't come back again!

Anyways, came across a post recently and felt that it is so so true ~ it is about how things change after each baby:

1st baby: You take your infant to Baby Gymnastics, Baby Swing, and Baby Story Hour.
2nd baby: You take your infant to Baby Gymnastics.
3rd baby: You take your infant to the supermarket and the dry cleaner.

Ok, for me, it stopped at the 2nd baby, which is bad enough ~ I hang my head in shame too!

It's RED ALERT and since it seemed so true, i'd better do something before it really happens! And I did ~

1st step: check out the introduction classes at Little Neuro Tree, marked down the date to make her class bookings when she is 12mths.

2nd step: marked down another date in my diary when she's 18mths old, Baby Gym.

Nattie's visit to Dr Tan

Nattie was due for her 2nd dose of pneumococcal..and so the clinic made an appt for us on saturday. At the same time, we took the chance to see her for nattie's cough that never seem to be gone~ it was a good visit, and we felt at ease when Dr Tan says that her lungs are ok. Just need to get the phlegm cleared. So we are on a 5 day course of anti-botics and please bless this darn virus to be gone forever!

Today, I've woken up with the "friendship bug" in my head again. I have pondered over this for quite some time...since end Jan? Dog-eyed friends ~ True Friends?

Ok, if you know me, you will know that I am someone who is simply happy all the time. Well, such things never bothered me. But this time, this has been in my head for a long time. Until a recent event, which really made me look at things differently. And yes, now, i do really believe Dog-eyed friends do really exist and I am surprised! why? I will never never do that to any of my friends. I will never choose or pick an event that I'd rather be at to another, in any case if the other is more "atas"?. and if i am there, I am there sincerely and not for other reasons.

Since I am at this, I would like to say a big Thank you to you guys for being there for me and loving me the way i am ~ :)
